The Shining Tongues

My apologies for effectively abandoning this blog over the last year. A lot has happened and those of you who follow The Infinite Three will know the reason that particular project has now come to an end.

I am pleased to announce that I’ve been working on some new songs during the lockdown, recording them remotely with contributions from Sam Mclaughlin (also of The Infinite Three), Robin Jax (of RobinPlaysChords), Ben Mclees (of This Is Radio Silence), Orlando Harrison (of The Alabama Three), Den Liberator (longtime INF3 co-producer/collaborator) and Maria Vellanz (of Bent Husbands; formerly of Leisur Hive)

A tentative debut thing is up on Bandcamp now for you to hear.

Follow us there and here.

The Infinite Three – Ascension Zone

Good morning comrades.

I’ve been a bit quiet on this website for a while since most of my time has been spent completing the new instrumental album from my band project The Infinite Three. It’s released today as a limited edition CD and an unlimited download. https://theinfinitethree.bandcamp.com/album/ascension-zone

It’s also available from all the usual streaming platforms, as one would expect.

Play it loud!

The Infinite Three – WINTER SOLSTICE XXI-XII-MMXVIII

Today my band, The Infinite Three, have released our annual Winter Solstice track, as is the queer nature of our doings. As usual it is a long intrumental piece of ecstatic experimental rock for your beautiful ears. We hope you enjoy it.

The Infinite Three – Foam EP

My band project with Paul Middleton and Sam Mclaughlin release a new EP today called Foam. You can obtain this thing of wonder from The Infinite Three’s Bandcamp page here:

The EP is also available from CD Baby and iTunes and can be streamed from Spotify, Deezer and Apple Music. Those of you in Taiwan, Malaysia and Thailand can also now stream the EP (and most of The Infinite Three’s other music) from Kkbox.

Eating Up Your Love

Here’s a new song from a forthcoming EP on Actual Size Music. Kind of a meeting between The Infinite Three and my more introspective solo music. There will be some exciting collaborations with other fine artists on the EP – no idea yet when it will be completed, but for now here is the first finished song.

‘Eating Up Your Love’ is available for licensing. If you are interested in using this music for film, television and video projects, take a look here.

The Pulse

Here’s a new piece I recorded here at The Banks of the River Effra. The Pulse is the first completed track from my new solo album which will be finished when I get five minutes of fucking peace very soon. Hopefully.

I’ve been messing around with recording and playing techniques influenced by the works of Glenn Branca and Rhys Chatham, and will be working with some interesting collaborators on the rest of the album. More news on this soon, but for now, put this inside your ears:

The above track is available for use in film, television and multimedia projects. If this interests you, either contact me or go straight to Songtradr where the track can be licensed directly.
